Garlock Style 623 jacketed metal gaskets have been discontinued as of April 3, 2026. Garlock recommends evaluating the following two alternative sealing solutions, which offer superior performance characteristics and are suitable for most applications currently served by the discontinued style: KAMMPROFILE Metal Gaskets and CMG XC - Xtreme Chemical Metal Gasket with GYLON® and THERMa-PUR® facing. Selection of the appropriate alternative sealing solution depends on the application. Double jacketed gaskets are constructed using one piece of metal to cover the bottom and edges of the soft sealing material, and an additional piece of metal to completely cover the face. Style 623 has good compressibility and resilience and is the most popular clad gasket manufactured.
