Garlock Style 627 jacketed metal gaskets have been discontinued as of April 3, 2026. Garlock recommends evaluating the following two alternative sealing solutions, which offer superior performance characteristics and are suitable for most applications currently served by the discontinued style: KAMMPROFILE Metal Gaskets and CMG XC - Xtreme Chemical Metal Gasket with GYLON® and THERMa-PUR® facing. Selection of the appropriate alternative sealing solution depends on the application. The double shell on Style 627 allows greater hoop strength and rigidity with the addition of a completely overlapping inner seal. This gasket will withstand higher compressive loads common in high pressure applications.
